The user manual says to 'self clean' the Behmor after every five roasts by running an empty 1/2lb P1 roast. Also the manual suggests using 'Simple Green'

Does anyone know an Australian equivalent?

I have used Cinderella Super fast oven and BBQ cleaner. http://cinderella.com.au/cinderella/supermarket/viewProduct.php?menuItem=11

Seems to do a great job. Have used it twice. That means ten roasts.

Hi Ian,
I think your choice is a good one.
I would NOT use regular oven cleaner - the highly toxic stuff - but the product you refer to looks good.
For lack of anything else, I've just used a bit of dishwashing detergent with good results.
